Painting!!!

So our friend Jim starts painting our house today. He's starting with the hideous feature walls because they'll need about 50 coats. I'm dreading the chaos but excited about finally being rid of the leery colours. We've chosen to have all the walls painted "Whisper White" so you call all look forward to new pics on Flickr soon.

And just in time too. With only two weeks and three days until Squirmy McBaby is due to make an appearance I was beginning to think that the painting would still under way while I was in hospital!

It seems like everything is in countdown mode at moment - only one week until the painting is done, two and a half weeks until the baby is due, three more days at work ... actually I'm pretty glad about that last one too. It's also getting a bit colder in the mornings so it's getting increasingly difficult to drag myself out of bed.
